Continuing on with the Ten Commandments Bible Memory Verses for children (not to mention all us seniors who love them so much), we worked on the fourth commandment on Wednesday – Remember the Sabbath – which I coupled with Worship God and some of my favorite inspirational Bible verses from Romans 12. Perfect for all of us and definitely something so many of us in the Sandwich Generation are choosing to do, as we also serve God by caring for our elderly parents and babysitting our grandchildren:
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
I found one of the old praise and worship hymn songs we used to sing in church. It's so peaceful and lovely – and also very easy for singing activities for grandparents and their grandchildren. I thought it would be quite lovely for this week – We Are an Offering by Chris Christian.

I listened to that several times as I was working on my room. It was such an encouraging blessing and really helped me to relax as I was praying about some stressful situations coming up. I pray this lovely praise and worship music will be a blessing to you and your grandkids as well on this Spiritual Sunday.
What a beautiful post on sheltering the elderly. I had the privilege of caring for my mother-in-law and that brought me much joy. Now I am loving on my grandblessings. This is a beautiful post. I want to worship daily.
Blessings,
Pamela
