Merry Day-After-Christmas! I hope your holiday was delightful, full of sweet visits or phone calls! We enjoyed ours as well and now are looking forward to a new year full of God’s love, grace, and provision (and as the grandkids would add – plenty of snow for a while too! 🙂 ).
I know some people are making 2013 sound “woo woo” coz of the 13. But God reminded me that the 13 can also stand for One God, Three people = the Trinity. A lovely way to look at it, don’t you think? I thought these would be lovely words of encouragement towards that end for all of us in AND out of the Sandwich eneration on this Word-Filled Wednesday!
New Years is traditionally a time for new habits, exciting changes, and intriguing challenges. That’s definitely looking to be true for my Sandwich Generation family and myself, due to various health and other needs.
As a result one change you will be seeing is here at SandwichINK. After almost five years of blogging at SandwichINK for the Sandwich Generation every single day, I am going to try switching to primarily two times per week here at SandwichINK.
Here at SandwichINK, I will continue to share resources, tips, and encouragement for the multigenerational caregiver with a weekly post for eldercare givers and a weekly post for all of us grandparents. This will enable me to keep sharing great resources here with you as well as ease my writing schedule a bit to free me up for the extra grandkid babysitting I’ve been doing and extra eldercaregiving my senior mom has been needing. And who knows, I might even be able to get started on a book idea I’ve been toying with for years!
So do keep visiting, sharing your ideas and input, and hanging in there. I know things are keeping you just as busy as well. But together we can keep helping each other on this journey called caregiving! Â Have a blessed week!
Great snow scene and inspiring words.
Hi! I’m visiting you via Beverly’s Pink Saturday, and it looks like you have a very helpful blog here. I enjoyed your snow picture, and hope you enjoy your Saturday!
Looking forward to the new year and for sharing. Thank you for being so faithful to share with us on Spiritual Sundays.
Blessings,
Charlotte
I don’t know how you have maintained your writing schedule and I can sure understand wanting a bit more time for other things! You deserve it! Continued success in 2013!
Thanks for stopping by Season The Day, I LOVE the verse you quoted in the picture above. Being conscious of God’s grace towards me helps me in every facet of my life. And I agree, 2013 is going to be great, and I love the “one God 3 peersons” representation. God is all over this year literally!!
Amen, Amber, AMEN!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thanks, Kc. Looking back, I’m not sure how either 🙂 But now, with so many health changes going on, this is definitely working better! Have a blessed year as well. 🙂
Hi Charlotte – Happy New Year blessings to you and thank you for all your hard work to bless us with Spiritual Sundays posts 🙂
