Daily Living Made Easier

It's been a joy-full weekend of sharing blessings from God on ourselves and on the Grady family – from sweet Charlie all the way up to his grandmother, Carol. If you haven't yet met the Grady family, Kelee Katillac's Miracle Makeover family, do visit Grandboys, Bugs, and Blessings for Sandwich Generation Grandparents . And if you have been visiting the various blogs – here are two encouraging updates:

From Kelee:

UPDATE 8/13 11 a.m. central : "We are on pace to reach our 5,000 comments goal! Currently, we have about 900 comments across the web and 65 beautiful bloggers, so far, have written posts dedicated to the Miracle Makeovertm. Please let all know you can comment daily–there will be new content added every 24 hours. Be sure to do the FACEBOOK comments, likes, and links too. Thank-you for your goodness… Together we can create yet another miracle! xo Kelee"

From the Grady family:

"Update on Charlie. Charlie had chemo Thursday and is doing better today after a visit from the puke monster last night. We are happy to say August 25th is Charlie's last chemo. He will have a MRI September 29th to tell us if Charlie has to do round three. The way everything looks right now and with a few extra prayers Charlie will not have to do round three."  Click here to read the rest. 🙂

As you can tell, this is one of those special blog party posts that will bring joy to others and you as well. By simply making comments at the five blogs listed, money will be donated for the next Miracle Makeover. You will definitely have a smile on your face from seeing the video and reading all the different posts. And you'll even be entered into fun contests. It's always a joy for the Sandwich Generation to be used by God to be a blessing to others right from their own home, don't you think? 🙂 Truly a weekend to join together and say:

Bless the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits  Psalm 103:1-2

And speaking of blessings, I thought this lovely song by Matt Redman10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord), from his album, 10,000 Reasons, was a perfect one for today, reminding us of ALL of God's blessings to us and others and letting us share in giving Him blessings and glory. Praying that you, too, are blessed with God's sweet SON-shine on this lovely weekend, as you go about caring for elderly parents while raising children or babysitting grandchildren. Being in the Sandwich Generation is certainly not easy, but it's definitely full of God's love, care and blessings. And for more blessings, be sure to pop over to Spiritual Sunday – full of encouraging Bible verses along with lovely praise and worship hymn songs and music. And…
