Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Joyous Advent Greetings! I'm so proud of myself. I lasted til the day after Thanksgiving before giving in to my Christmas desires and then, at the nudging of a grandson, down came the tree, up went the rocker into the attic, and zing went a spasm in my back. YIKES! So YES, I would greatly appreciate any and all prayers for speedy healing. As you all know, down time for a Sandwich Generation caregiver is often non-existent! The good thing is that some rest but not too much seems to be the best prescription so I should be able to do that. 🙂 And I'm already feeling a bit better thanks to pain medication.
And uplifting praise and worship music, like this lovely song by Matt Redman, 10,000 Reasons, along with the Christmas praise my grandkids and I have started to enjoy have been a definite encouragement to me.
I'm hoping your day is going much better than mine. But even it it's not, I pray that you would also be blessed by this lovely music. AND for those of you who, like me, are also in the Christmas, not to mention Advent, mood, Floss at Troc, Broc and Recup is once again hostessing "A Pause in Advent" for 2012. A sweet way of spiritually preparing our hearts and minds for Christmas. My grandson and I started our Advent devotions early tonight and I'll be looking up fun ideas for all of us to share with our grandkids – probably on Friday. And don't forget the delightful encouragement at Spiritual Sunday. Have a blessed day!
