No matter how much I may daydream of pumpkins, autumn leaves dancing in a graceful ballet and cooler crisper weather, summer just keeps marching along. With heat indexes above 100 degrees and air quality down-right lousy, indoor activities are definitely the name of the game for my whole Sandwich Generation family – both my senior mom AND my grandkids.
My grandchildren and I had fun with hats and bags recently – cloth tote bags and sun caps to be exact. You can find them easily at a variety of stores, from Michael's Crafts to Walmart to Dollar Tree.
This particular batch came from the Dollar Tree and I was thrilled to find packages with colors for girls and guys.
The grandkids picked their faves, grabbed some of the Crayola washable markers and started decorating away.
The fun was evident, clean-up a breeze, and the results very cute! And practical, to boot! All favorites for this Sandwich Generation granny nanny. Cool summer fun, indeed! As is the always-delightful, Pink Saturday! And…
Great post and interesting PINK!
