What fun! I combined my senior mom's brand new treadmill with a lovely bouquet of flowers in a sweet vase from a dear friend to say Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Rednesday from our Sandwich Generation family to yours.
See the hint of pink on the flower petals above.
And definitely plenty of red -from the buttons on the NordicTrack treadmill to the red "emergency" button that you clip to yourself. That way, if you or your senior parent (or grandkids) stumble and fall, it will automatically turn off the treadmill. A great safety feature that works very well, indeed!
My senior mom and grandson have LOVED giving it a try. The other grandkids can't wait to test drive it as well. And me? I meant to test it out last night but got home too late. Later today, hopefully. And a full report coming up next Thursday! Have a great week as you juggle all those Sandwich Generation issues. And don't forget to make time in YOUR day for some exercise – of mind, spirit, and body. Taking care of the caregiver is the best gift we can give our whole family! 🙂
Happy Rednesday! Wishing your mom lots of fun on her new treadmill.
Makes using the treadmill nicer.
It does, indeed, LV 🙂
