By the by, did you notice in the previous post that my granddog remembered the red for Rednesday with that teeny snippet of a toy? But I couldn't resist another post with this lovely red rose bush we spotted while walking.

Loved these pretty red and white flowers I spotted when taking my granddog for a walk

Delightful for some Rednesday cheer to bring a smile to the faces of all of us who are busy today, including those of us caring for the elderly parents in our family, don't you think?   🙂  Have a blessed day!

  1. Anytime I see a pretty rose, it makes me happy. Yours is a very pretty one.

  2. These are roses? Absolutely stunning!

    WOMAN IN THE SCARLET COAT

    Woman in the scarlet coat,
Are you heading for a boat?
Or perhaps you need a bus
To get far away from us.
Whether wheels or sails you take
    Don’t forget the chocolate cake
    To sustain you on your way;
    Red-clad damsel, now we say,
“Go with grace, enjoy the ride,
See you on the other side!”

  3. What a drop dead gorgeous rose! Thank you for sharing that little beauty with us.

  4. I’ve never seen a rose as stunning as that one! I hope it smells as beautiful as it looks. And you cracked me up with the term “granddog”!
    Happy REDnesday,
    Carol

  5. You and me both, LaVoice! They are a blessing from God for our spirits, aren’t they! 🙂

  6. Aren’t they gorgeous, Teacher! 🙂 And loved your poem – DEFINITELY don’t forget the chocolate cake!!! 🙂

  7. Very welcome, Janelle. Thank you so much for popping by 🙂

  8. It did smell good, Carol! 🙂 And (curtsey) thank you very much! I thought I was so smart thinking up granddog all on my own. Come to find out, there’s a LOT of us out there. I even got into a fun discussion about granddogs and grandcats at the airport a couple of weeks ago. Too fun! 🙂
