Wacky weather is still making major headlines this spring – including the late and unexpected storm in the Northeast, not to mention the possibility of storms coming up in our neck of the woods this coming week. But spring has definitely sprung for our Sandwich Generation family, albeit a bit on the chilly side this week, and my senior mom and grandkids are enjoying their fun and healthy gardening activities.
Every time the grandkids come over, they pop outside with great-grandma to inspect the growing plants in the pots that they helped to plant.
They also enjoy checking out the various birds we are enjoying including my senior mom's favorite – the vivid red Northern Cardinal birds, as well as making sure each bird feeder is full of seed and each bowl has plenty of water. Some may do it from up above, though. 🙂
Healthy exercise – great for the body and the brain – is wonderful for all the ages of our multigenerational Sandwich Generation families, and we've been getting plenty of it these past few weeks. Stay tuned for more fun ways. In the meantime, what are you and your family up to for exercise? 🙂 Also, enjoy Sweet Shot Tuesday, and…
Hey Kaye!
These were some great shots! I love the one of the feet. Looks like you guys made some very special memories together once again.
Hope your weather has improved.
Have a blessed day!
Hi Kaye, thank you so much for your sweet comments on my PS post. We had a wonderful celebration. It means so much to hear from so many blogging friends.
We have had wild weather as well. You have been bust enjoying the great outdoors with your projects. The tree shot looks scary. HA! The birds love you I am sure. Smile.
Have sunny days ahead.
XO, Jeanne
Oh yes – Jeanne! those birds do love my senior mom and her fun gardening activities! As do the squirrels! The fun part is when the squirrels and birds have a tiff – just like watching kids squabble – too funny! 🙂 And mega congrats again! 🙂
Hi Susan! Thank you. We did indeed enjoy adding to our sweet family memories. The weather is lovely today but rain may be a-comin. 🙂
