My grandkids and I have long enjoyed the fun with phonics resources from Leap Frog such as the Letter Factory DVD set. I was thrilled when I was out shopping last week and discovered there are two new DVDs out. One new one to help those of us teaching a child or grandchild to read – Leap Frog: The Amazing Alphabet Amusement Park, as well as a math dvd – Leap Frog: Numbers Ahoy.
Not only that, they are available on DVDs as before OR you can watch them on Netflix. And since both sets of grandkids and their parents get Netflix on their TVs through the Wii channel, I immediately called my long distance grandkids to let them know and am looking forward to watching them with my nearby grandkids this week.
Don't you love it when you discover educational and "fun with reading and phonics" resources easily available, right in your own living room. Perfect for all of us Sandwich Generation granny nannies who are helping to teach a grand child to read! 🙂
P.S. I love Netflix for streaming videos and get it on my computer. If you don't get Netflix and would like to, just click here.
P.P.S. With so much RED in these cute Leap Frog DVDs, I'm linking this up to REDnesday. 🙂
