Speaking of the lovely old Christian hymn, Abide with Me, I thought this would be a delightful treat on this sweet Sunday for all of us in the Sandwich Generation. Here's a slightly different version of it that I really enjoyed, sung by the Cathedrals, back in 1983 (a fun year for this baby boomer! 🙂 ).
Have a lovely day, knowing that our Savior does, indeed, abide with us always. A treat for each of us in the Sandwich Generation and a delight to share with our grandchildren as they drift off to sleep. 🙂
And…
Beautiful, Dear, thank you. Blessings ~
One thing I know from experience, those of us in the sandwich generation can use all the inspiration we can get!
Blessings,
Gayle
This is a familiar old song I have sung so many times in church, and we sang it a cappella too. This brings back memories. Thank you for sharing it.
Blessings,
Charlotte
Thanks, Charlotte. I have loved it for years and especially when singing a grandchild to sleep.
Isn’t that the truth, Gayle!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
