How's your week going? Mine's a bit crazy! Talk about your Sandwich Generation issues! Between special projects for two sets of grandkids, researching some issues for my senior mom, and doing some spring cleaning in fall, my To Do list is getting longer and my time is getting shorter. So it's a short post today that's full of BIG help for all of us grandparents looking for great apps (some fun AND some educational AND some BOTH) for the grand kids, not to mention any of us looking for the best iPad apps for our whole family – from seniors to grandkids. And YES, that definitely includes me! How about you?
There is a great little app called Free Apps Daily that I check regularly. It shows me a list of discounted apps, even better – a list of FREE apps (my favorite price), and it even provides a Watch List option so you can mark apps you are interested in. Then you check it daily to see if it's gone on sale or is free. I'm currently looking for two games for one grandson and one for myself. Two I had requested earlier eventually came up. And I love the new one I picked up yesterday – perfect for my granddogs – PetMD Symptom Checker. Definitely a handy little gizmo that can actually save us some time as well as money. And both are always a major blessing for all of us in the Sandwich Generation. And it turns out they have a different app just the iPad. I'll have to check that one out! 🙂
