Thanksgiving is on its way. I don't know about you, but this year's will be a small one for us. Our holiday dinners have waxed and waned through the years. Sometimes as many as 20+. Sometimes as few as 2. This will be about 7ish. Small enough, we don't really need placecard holders. But with bigger groups, those are a big help in keeping things a little more organized, don't you think? When I get to use them, I like to add a Bible verse to them. And even though I probably won't need them this year, who knows about next year for us – and this year for YOU! So I thought it would be fun to make some cute placecard holders for us each week, starting with this grandpa and grandson.
This is one of those encouraging Bible verses I really cling to – especially on those days the grandkids are being a bit on the rambunctious side ("who, us????" they cry! 🙂 ). Here's a bigger, simler version of my little placecard…
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Ps 100:5
And here it is as a coloring page – perfect for quiet activities on Thanksgiving Day or even before the fun festivities begin, don't you think?
Have a blessed week with your own Sandwich Generation family. And yes, we'd love to hear your family ideas for Thanksgiving – big or small. And…
What a wonderful idea. Ours will be small this years as well – 7 total unless my son brings a girlfriend 🙂 Have a wonderful day!
