Autumn bliss! I am thoroughly enjoying this sweet season. And thanks to the continuing weird weather around here, with storms and threatened storms and short sleeves mixed in with cloudy overcast, I’m also thinking ahead to holiday fun – Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween.

Halloween???? Yup. We LOVE Halloween around here because it’s a wonderful chance to shower lots of candy, love, and Scripture verses on adorable little kids (and grandkids) who coming knocking at the door. That makes this the perfect time to start working on some fun goodies to share with them – and you – on this sweet Wednesday.

I used my favorite and very cute country clipart from Trina and thought that this year, bookmarks (or door knob hangers, window decor, etc.) would be fun. I might even hand out those little cardboard mailing tags along with these cute clipart coloring pictures. Then, if they wanted, they would have several simple crafty options to enjoy once they got home.ย What a fun way to encourage simple crafts AND share the sweet Word of God with neighbors and others who come trick or treating.

Not to mention that this will make fun and easy crafts for our own kids and grandkids (and even all of us boomers and seniors and our parents can enjoy this as well).

Oh yes, this Sandwich Generation grandma has the holiday spirit in a big way and is LOVING using it to share a sweet spiritual legacy with friends, family, AND GRANDKIDS! Join me, won’t you?ย  Sweet holiday fun for the Sandwich Generation!
