One of my favorite verses – for myself and to share with my kids and grandkids – is repeated several times in the gospels as well as in the Old Testament. As one of my favorite pastors often says, "If God repeats something, it's extra important." And this passage, with the greatest commandments, is definitely extra important. This particular version is from Luke 10:27. I thought this cute Scripture clipart would be a great verse for them to color, and fun to share with trick or treaters.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength, and with all your mind. and your neighbor as yourself.

This is great. And you’re right, as a minister, I have often said the same thing to many of those I study with. If it’s repeated, pay extra attention to it. That’s how you find the timeless truth in any passage.
