One of the many questions my grandkids ask me about heaven is, "Will there be food in heaven?" Thanks to the encouraging Bible memory verses about heaven this week for our kids and grand children series, I can easily answer, "yes, and now you will know why I say yes!" Talk about happy little campers, not to mention a happy Sandwich Generation granny nanny. 🙂
Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, 2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month ; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Revelation 22:1-2
Can you imagine TWELVE kinds of fruit on one tree! And a crop EVERY month! Wow! What fun to think about – for our kids and grandkids AND for ourselves!
