Daily Living Made Easier

When the Sandwich Generation issues of life seem somewhat overwhelming, it really helps to look up! Up to the heavens above. Just as they "praise the wonders of God," they remind us to praise God – no matter what is going on.

The heavens will praise Your wonders, O LORD; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones. For who in the skies is comparable to the LORD? Who among the sons of the mighty is like the LORD, A God greatly feared in the council of the holy ones, And awesome above all those who are around Him? O LORD God of hosts, who is like You, O mighty LORD? Your faithfulness also surrounds You. Psalm 89:5-8

Isn't it awesome to realize that the God Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, the One Who made the sky we see AND the sky we can't see – full of planets, stars, moons, comets, and so much more – made us, loves us, and will always be there for us! And what a great thing to tell our grandkids! Talk about leaving a sweet spiritual legacy in their hearts and minds!

P.S. Can you tell that some of my grandchildren are studying astronomy this year. And that this Sandwich Generation granny nanny is learning as she helps. πŸ™‚

I am praising God today! Your thoughts reminded me of a line in one of my favorite songs.. “I see Your power in the moonlit night. Where planets are in motion and galaxies are bright. We are amazed in the light of the stars. Its all proclaiming who You are, You’re beautiful” He is amazing! Thank you for sharing this post.
