Sweet Gift of and from Gods Word and Workman Publishing!
Merry Christmas! I have a delightful treat for us all from Workman Publishing. The gift of God’s Word! They sent me four of their beautiful illustrated Bible verses from their book, “100 Illustrated Bible Verses: Inspiring Words. Beautiful Art” to share with you. Aren’t they lovely? These encouraging Bible verses are perfect for Christmas don’t you think? They share the joy of Christmas Day, the beginning of our world that was spoken into existence by the Word of God, the fact that Jesus is is the Word, is indeed God, and the whole reason for the season – God’s love for the whole world. A lovely treat to encourage all ages from our elderly parents to our young grandkids. And a sweet way to share the Word of God with loved ones at Christmas and throughout the year.
Gods Word in Music
I loved this music video with two of my favorite Christmas Carols, Hark! the Herald Angels Sing and O Come All Ye Faithful. It’s one of the many lovely music videos shared by Bill & Gloria Gaither. I especially appreciated that it included the last verse of O Come All Ye Faithful with the lyrics that include vital truths from Gods Word:
Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning;
Jesus, to Thee be glory given;
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing.
Jesus – Word of the Father, Word of God, God Himself – a delightful Christmas carol for these lovely pictures of the Word of God! Be blessed…
Gods Word – Verse by Verse
Going a bit further in the book of John, the next verse by verse Bible study from the book of John by David Guzik covers John 5:19-47.
Enjoy Gods Word During this Christmas Season and Beyond
Have a blessed and beautiful week surrounded by Gods Word in print and in melody.
