Last Wednesday, I shared a Scripture and photo using Psalm 133:1, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity." That's such an important concept for all of us in the Sandwich Generation – from the very young grandkids to the very elderly senior parents. it's not always easy, either. Between health issues, medication side effects, and so many multigenerational issues, it can be triply hard for all of us in the Sandwich Generation as well, making this an excellent Scripture for all of us to memorize.
Did you know there is a praise song based on this verse? A couple of them, actually, as I discovered while looking for the one I used to sing in church when my kids were young. I finally found this YouTube video with kids from an old Christian kids show, Colby, singing the song and dancing to it. We never danced to it, but we did enjoy singing it faster and faster as they do in this video. It's not the greatest quality of video. But the message is so important and the song is great for helping us memorize it, that I wanted to share it with you.
Wasn't that fun? I've been singing that off and on in my heart for decades, thanks to this cute little song and the fun way we sang it then – and they sing it now. I pray it will bless you as well. Have a lovely week and enjoy more encouraging and comforting Bible verses and praise and worship music at Spiritual Sunday as well. A blessing for all of us – in AND out of the Sandwich Generation.
