The Sandwich Generation issues have been keeping me extra busy the past couple of months due to health issues on a couple of different fronts. One of the things that keeps me going strong in the Lord and in my duties is listening to encouraging praise and worship music as I drive to and fro. One in particular that has been a special blessing to me these past few weeks is Where I Belong by Building 429.

I especially appreciate the words, "So when the walls come falling down on me and when I'm lost in the current of a raging sea, I have this blessed assurance holding me – All i know is, I'm not home yet. This is not where I belong! Take this world and give me Jesus!!!" Amen and AMEN!
As the sweetly comforting Bible verses from Philippians 3:20-21 remind us, "…our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself."
Wonderful encouragement for all of us in the Sandwich Generation, don't you think? And great words of inspiration to share with our grandchildren as well. Be blessed this week as we meditate on these sweet words of encouragement.
“Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine. Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine.” These words came to mind as I read you post. So encouraging to me today.
I prayed for you…
Pamela
Thank you, Pamela, for those sweet words of encouragement for me! 🙂
