Merry Christmas to the Sandwich Generation!

I wanted to share one last Smilebox card with you this year, along with a delightful Christmas CelebrationMedley from the album  Christmas Celebration, performed by the U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus.

I would also like to take this moment to say thank you to all the brave soldiers fighting to protect our freedom all around the world, along with their precious families, many of whom have sacrificed valuable time together during the holidays.

As a proud mom, daughter, niece, aunt, and friend of many brave men and women of the military, I am blessed by them and pray for God to encourage and protect each of them.

I pray too, for them and each of you, my readers, a blessed Christmas!

  1. Kaye, thank you! My 22 yr old nephew left in mid Dec for his 2nd tour of duty in Afghanistan as a Marine. It was really hard on my sister’s family and on my mom as well. We got to see him at Thanksgiving. Many men and women deserve our prayers and thoughts during this holiday time away from family and friends. Thanks for putting up the reminders!

A blessed season to you as well!

  2. Hi Jacquelyn, I’m so glad you liked it 🙂 We have several friends and family members who have been gone at varying times this Christmas or last as well. I am so proud of each of them and their families. It’s not an easy thing to do but they all do it so bravely and we are so appreciative! 🙂
