Watermelon and flowers on a patriotic holiday like the 4th of July - along with cute country clipart - fireworks - and your family - great ingredients for great memories

WooHoo! It’s patriotic party blog time, fun in the sun summer time, and on top of all that, it’s creative ways to save money time thanks to Amazon! Yesterday, I wrote about several patriotic blog parties we can join in online, along with delightful andChristian patriotic hymn songs and music mp3 downloads at Amazon. Today, it’s PINK SATURDAY, full of red white and blue along with FREE Kindle books, books, and more books for all of us in the Sandwich Generation. I’m telling you, I’m just typing away with a huge smile from ear to ear at all the sweet times for this week. 🙂

As this cute country patriotic clip art illustrates - the heart of a caregiver is to be where they are needed - even if it means the hospital on a holidayAs I love to say, FREE is one of the most practical and creative ways to save money. Plus, free books in a Kindle reader or iPhone Kindle app are especially handy for all of us Sandwich Generation caregivers who are constantly busy. Don’t you hate to run an errand or get called out on an emergency unexpectedly, and then end up sitting for long periods of time with NO book with you! If you have the Kindle or a smart phone with a Kindle app, that’s never an issue any more. Ain’t it grand!  🙂 And if you don’t have either of those, but you are interested in these books, did you know you can also download the free Kindle app onto any computer – Apple or PC – and read it there. 🙂

As of yesterday, June 30, these are the best of the free Christian Kindle books online that I spotted:

CHRISTIAN MYSTERY BOOKS

Love Me If You Must by Nicole Young

Hide in Plain Sight by Marta Perry  – a Love Inspired Suspense novel set in Amish country

CHRISTIAN ROMANCE NOVELS

Fools Rush In by Janice Thompson

HISTORICAL CHRISTIAN ROMANCE NOVELS

Daughter of Joy by Kathleen Morgan

HISTORICAL BIBLICAL FICTION

Journey to the Well by Diana Wallis Taylor

CHRISTIAN ENCOURAGEMENT

Encouraging Bible Verses from the Message by Eugene Peterson

Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary on the Bible

This Sandwich Generation granny nanny loves cute patriotic red white and blue country clipart - dont you

And YES! I downloaded several of these myself and will be passing on the info to many of my family members. I wouldn’t suggest taking your Kindle to the beach – sand and water might be kind of hard on it. But just about anywhere else you end up this summer – whether fun swimming pool or not-so-fun hospital while caring for elderly parents – these free Christian Kindle books should be a big blessing to all of us in the Sandwich Generation.

P.S. FYI – Free comes and go quickly at Amazon. So while they are still fun items, they may no longer be free. 🙂

I handed down my Kindle to my husband after I bought my Ipad2 – we both love reading this way. I’ll pass on the books you found to my granddaughters. I’m sure they will enjoy them too.

Happy 4th of July and PS!
