This grandma loves everything cherry flavored including cherry cokes

Oh my! Don't you love it when you are doing something good, like dropping off your senior mom to shop and then vacuuming your car only to have a traumatic event!

The Sandwich Generation granny nanny was already behind when I broke this can with my car

Have you ever left a soda in a can on the floor of the back seat of your car or van? And when you have been vacuuming said car or van, have you ever moved the seat back, and accidentally hit one of those soda cans?????

The Sandwich Generation issues of life can be more stressful with small accidents

Now you know what can happen! Not fun! It definitely creates a big puddle! I was SOOOO grateful I had some wipes and paper towels to clean it all up. Got it clean and headed into the store in plenty of time to pick up my senior mom. Wasn't even late for babysitting the grandchildren after that. One of the small joys of the Sandwich Generation in the midst of this "traumatic event." 🙂 And when it was all over, I definitely needed ANOTHER cherry Coke to help me recover. Hmmmm, think my senior mom would like this photo on her iPad? 🙂  How about you? How was your week? And don't forget to have a Happy Rednesday!

LOL I HATE Cherry Coke! But my daughter loves it so whenever I babysit over there I am stuck drinking it unless I bring something else or settle for water!

  5. 🙂 Oh, you have my sympathy, Joyce. It reminds me of a time I was once at one my kids’ houses and they only had one soda, so I tried it. It was SOOOO awful. Turns out a friend had left it behind after a party, and my kids hated it too. LOL.But I definitely know the frustration there. You could try my idea, “have soda, will travel.” Of course, that can lead to the broken can in the car – hehehehehe 🙂
