You may have noticed a bubble or ten around SandwichINK for the Sandwich Generation this week. My grandkids had such a good time playing with their bubble shooter guns and I had so much fun snapping away with my easy to use digital camera. It was definitely a bubbleicious week for us!
I did want to make a couple of suggestions if you are thinking of heading out to shop for bubble shooters, pinwheels, or other types of blowers or guns. We had one type that had the bubble solution screw into the gun itself. The other two needed to be dipped. When I first looked at them, I personally thought the bottle attached to the bubble shooter guns would get in the way and be a pain.
As it turned out, both kinds made plenty of bubbles but the grandkids all voted their favorite as the one WITH the solution attached. It did NOT get in the way, and they didn't have to stop to "reload" as often. Plus, I think they thought it looked extra cool. 🙂 And as we grandparents know well, never underestimate the power of "looking cool." Especially for those grandkids approaching grand-tween status. Oyyyyy, where do the years go!
How about you and your grandkids? What are their preferences for these fun bubble shooters? And do you buy the bubble solution or have you found a great homemade recipe. Speaking of homemade bubble solution, did you spot the one I shared at Facebook? (And have you LIKEd the SandwichINK for the Sandwich Generation page yet? I'd sure love to see you there too!) It looked very cool, indeed. And by the by, don't forget to have a good selection of screwdrivers and batteries handy. ALL these bubble shooter guns required those! Have a great day and do some fun laughing in the midst of your caregiving duties, with or without those bubbles floating around! And Happy Pink Saturday. 🙂
I may look for that in store.
My Pink, have a great weekend!
They did enjoy it Chubskulit 🙂
