Oh me, oh my, oh Nehemiah! (I love that line from some kid's church play I once heard of. 🙂 It's been an up and down day, that's for sure. One grandchild has the flu, one granddog was angsty and UBER wiggly, my car is making odd sounds, and I got to the post office too late to mail two packages.
On the bright side, I did get the most important package mailed via the automatic machine. I DO love that thing! Granddog two stopped being angsy long enough to give me a cute photo for this post. AND I got the most delightful gift in the mail this week from Denise Brown at Caregiving – a Butterball turkey coupon. What a sweet treat! I think it was there since Thanksgiving and I just hadn't had time to get over to pick it up. See how much fun blog parties are – especially when hosted by such sweet people as Denise Brown at Caregiving. THANK YOU AGAIN, DENISE. 🙂
Speaking of blog party fun, CONGRATULATIONS to Jane for winning the SandwichINK for the Sandwich Generation Amazon gift certificate during the Caregiving Holiday Progressive Blog Party! If you haven't yet replied to my email, do so quickly and I'll pop it out to you. (And if caregiving issues are slowing you down, don't worry! I TOTALLY understand. 🙂 )
That's the great thing about blog party fun for all of us in the Sandwich Generation. We can attend at our leisure, skip it easily if caregiving issues intervene, and even wear our PJs if we like. Not to mention enjoy listening to Christmas carols the whole while. Happy Week Before Christmas. Stay Healthy. And enjoy the weather. (We're FINALLY supposed to get snow this week. So far, we've only had flurries – enough to show on my arm, but that's it! So WOO HOO to snow!) 🙂
Your Grand dog is adorable. Makes me miss my little Max!
Oh, Thank you, Leslie. Have a blessed season!
Hope your grandchild and granddoggie are feeling better now!
Merry Christmas to you!
Hi Sally, thank you. 🙂 My grandchild is slowly improving, my senior mom and I are so far doing fine, as are the rest of the grandkids – and praying hard that continues, and Granddoggies are behaving much better – both are currently sleeping beside me on comfy towels – one on each side. Have a blessed and Merry Christmas as well! 🙂
May all be well with you and yours!
A Little Nativity Red
Thank you 🙂 And you, as well! 🙂
