WOW! Can you believe this is the last of the 10 commandments for kids! It's hard to believe it's been three months since I started this Bible memory verses project for the grand kids. I'm so excited to hear that a couple of churches have been using it for VBS or Sunday School. What a blessing to watch God at work through this! And it's not quite over. Next week I've got another set of two commandments for the grand children and all of us. Be sure to pop back. 🙂
You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor. Exodus 20:17
Can't you just picture one little bird in the smallest house looking at the birds in the bigger houses and wishing HE had a bigger house? Of course not. God has promised we are more valuable than the birds in the sky. So if they don't have to worry about being taken care of, we DEFINITELY don't have to worry about being taken care of. I have to tell you, just typing this was such an encouragement to me. I pray it will be a blessing to each of you and your kids and grandchildren as well.
That's why I added the two extra Scriptures to encourage us to rejoice always and be content. And YES, I have to constantly work on that as well. Won't it be nice when we are safely in heaven and the spiritual battles are over! Until then, though:
Rejoice in the Lord always, again I will say, Rejoice!…I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. Philippians 4:4, 11
Have a blessed Word-Filled Wednesday full of encouraging and comforting Bible verses and pictures.
I always need to be reminded of these verses!
Blessings Kaye… How delightful this entire series has been! I like that churches are making good use of this resource. I LOVE the lesson(s)! You are so creative Kaye ! I really like that you add the NT verses. So we can be content and REJOICE! You have shown great perseverance and amazing creativity in the precious lessons for your grand kids and us! I think I know what the last TWO may be! Can’t wait to see! Being content and enjoy this beautiful day that we have given to REJOICE and be glad!
Peace and JOY.
Peggy
That is so cute, Kaye. Wonderful verses ~
Isn’t it amazing that the birds don’t envy another’s larger birdhouse! I really liked that. That’s such a good picture lesson.
I will keep reminding myself to be content wherever He has me.
Blessings,
Janis
Cute house!
Thanks Kim! 🙂 🙂 🙂
🙂 Hi Peggy – I bet you do know what they are 🙂 🙂 🙂 And a sweet wrap-up, don’t you think? 🙂 Thank you so much and have a blessed and beautiful week. 🙂

Thanks so much Cathy 🙂
Thanks, Janis. That was such a sweet encouragement to me 🙂 🙂 🙂
I am constantly amazed at the way God answers prayer. After too long trying to do this “myself”, I asked Him to show me how to continue teaching Sunday school now that I am cooking for a senior citizen’s group and community outreach dinners, babysitting my grandchildren, and helping my husband’s parents. As I googled a picture for the 10 commandments bookmarks I wanted to make for my SS kids’ Bibles, I “came across” your website. God wanted to reassure me that not only am I not alone because of Him, but He has put others in this world just like me to help me, too. Thank you so much! God bless you! Judy
