What a fun afternoon! You shoulda heard us! We had a blast singing this song! Especially this multigenerational grandma! The grandkids were grinning hugely at me as I was happily singing away quite loudly! Talk about fun activities for grandparents and grandchildren! 🙂

Gonna gonna learn all the books from the bottom to the top, Soak it in your brain like water in a mop, If you learn this song you’ll impress mom and pop, We had a lot of fun I wish we didn’t have to stop, We’ll do the Bible Book Bop (The Bible Book Bop by Go Fish Guys)

We do love that song! We followed that song up with a couple of other Books of the Bible song favorites, then on to their math songs. A fun, educational and musical afternoon in the car as we traveled from one home to another this afternoon.

I love looking for fun activities for grandparents and grandchildren as I help them learn their schoolwork and teach them about God. And singing is definitely a great way to help kids learn! So I really appreciate these great helps as we are learning the books of the Bible and other important concepts.

AND I finally figured out how to make come cute Books of the Bible coloring page bookmarks for the grandkids, to help them SEE the books of the Bible, as well as hear them and sing them. As you know, I’m a big believer in teaching in a variety of ways so no matter which way a child or grandchild learns best – auditory, visual or tactile – they’ll get that and then some. 🙂 I left them plain so they can color them in, meaning they can also touch the cards with the names. What do you think?

Not perfect, but not bad either. And lots of fun activities for grandparents and grandchildren, in AND out of the Sandwich Generation! 🙂
