When it's been a tough week for you or a loved one in or out of your Sandwich Generation family, Psalm 46 can be such a blessing – especially verses 1, 2, and 10.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way…"Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:1,2,10a ESV

I’m so thankful that God is my refuge in time of need. He has certainly proven Himself in my family recently.
Blessings Kaye… Beautiful, serene scene to help us remember this
STILLness and that God is our strength and refuge! You are also such a sweet blessing… thank you for all the COMFORT and comforting verses as well as the wonderful email you sent me from last week with all the grief resources. You are a treasure Kaye!
Praying that you hold on to this PEACE reflected in His Still waters…
I love this peace and this renewed strength… and I’m sure anyone in a ‘sandwich’ generation does too! May God sweetly comfort you as you willing comfort and give to others!
Peace and love,
Peggy
Why do I have so much stinkin’ trouble with this one?? Stilling myself?? I’m claiming and embracing this Kaye! Thank you for sharing this…it’s exactly what I needed today! Bless YOU! 🙂

Kaye:
I’ve read several posts today about waiting and being still before the Lord. Love this verse and the photo is so refreshing.
Blessings,
Joan
I love be still and know that I am God. It hangs in my kitchen above the sink to remind me to turn first to God and then wait on his grace.
Yes, Kaye – that is my life verse these days. Trying to be still – know He is God – always on time and ever present help in time of need! Bless you for your encouraging words.
Joy!
Mss Kathy
a little late this week as usual, but hey! I made it – and it’s all good right? hugs – thanks for blessing me – i love your outreach Kaye!
Hi Lori, I have to chuckle, coz I can be right there with you. Quiet music does help though – be sure to check out the Marty Goetz song today – it should help a LOT – I’m LOVING it 🙂 Blessings to you my sweet friend 🙂
That is so true, Alice! And what blessings we’ve seen with y’all. Praying for continuing healing. 🙂
Thank you so much Peggy. And you are very welcome. Praying for comfort for you and your friend. 🙂
Me Too! Alida. 🙂 Isn’t it a blessing. I can stand for the longest time and just stare into softly moving water – and be so blessed! I love it – In fact, that’s what happened after I took that photo. 🙂
Hi Joan, Isn’t it great when God has several of us write on the same “wavelength.” I’ve seen that before, and often it was speaking right to a special need. Glory-bumps as I’ve heard before 🙂
Very Cool, Eileen. I love to hang encouraging and comforting Bible verses around my house or post them on my walls in other ways. Great for me AND for the kids and grandkids as I know you’ve found as well. 🙂
Awesome goals Kathy! Have a blessed week. 🙂
You’re so sweet, Amy. And nowadays, I’m ALWAYS slow – but like the tortoise and the hare – the race goes to the one who hangs in there and that’s BOTH OF US, Lord willing! 🙂 Have a blessed week.
