Autumn Is My Favorite Season. And The Hint of Fall in the Trees Have Put a Smile on the Face of This Grandmother and Her Grandkids

The hot spell that has been relentless in our area ended on Friday. Wave after wave of LOUD thunder, bright lightning and torrential rain blessed us several times over the weekend. During a couple of the lulls in the storms, my grandkids and I enjoyed some walks in the neighborhood. Great exercise for all of us and such a sweet day brightener for me in the midst of various Sandwich Generation interruptions. LOOK! You can see just a hint of autumn in the leaves in these trees! FALL IS COMING with plenty of fun activities for our families!

Granted, it may be a few more weeks. This morning was gorgeous. Cool, overcast, and lovely. But by 5 pm we were almost at 100 with the sun beating down. But I can keep enjoying these photos until autumn really arrives!
