Daily Living Made Easier

Moving is definitely not for the “faint of heart!” And for those of us in the Sandwich Generation, it definitely brings with it extra challenges, more items to pack, more things to add to the To-Do list – all mixed in with the normal things that there are often not enough time in the day to complete.

It’s been necessary to cut back on some things while temporarily letting other things slide. But one thing I’ve been grateful to stay current in are my daily Bible studies – sometimes listening while packing and other times working on before starting in on moving projects like cleaning, packing, final doctor visits, etc. What a blessing this week, as I was reading in Psalms, to be reminded that:

Truly my soul finds rest in God. My salvation comes from Him. Truly He is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress, I will never be shaken!

A grand verse for me, especially when I get REALLY tired. 🙂  AND an excellent one to share with my loved ones, including my senior mom and my grandkids! How about you? What Scripture has touched your heart in a personal way this week? We’d love to hear them!
