Top O the Day to Ye! In case you haven't heard the big news around our parts, it's St Patricks Day! For all of us boomers and seniors with grandkids, that means – BE SURE YOU ARE WEARING GREEN! 🙂
One of my grandsons was so cute. Last week he cautioned, "Grandma, be sure you wear green on St Patricks Day or we'll have to pinch you. But Grandma, don't worry. If I have to pinch you, I won't pinch you with my fingernails, coz that would hurt! I'll be sure to pinch you soft with the soft part of my fingers!" "Isn't that adorable," proudly proclaims this doting Sandwich Generation granny nanny! 🙂
And just to be sure YOU have green to wear, if all else fails, print this page, cut out this cute St Patricks Day snowman, complete with shamrock, clipart and wear it proudly. 🙂 Also, don't forget, if you aren't able to get out and about today to enjoy St Patricks Day activities, be sure to click here for plenty of online St Patricks Day party blog posts and festivities. 🙂
As a proud member of the Baby Boomer Generation, flirting with my senior citizen status, I have fond family memories of the Irish Rovers and their music. Here's one of my fun Smilebox eCards for you with one of my favorite Irish Rovers Songs, The Marvelous Toy, delightful for St Patricks Day sharing activities for grandparents and grandchildren. 🙂
