I just wanted to thank you for mentioning me and some of my articles on my website.  I greatly appreciate your trust in me.

Oddly enough, much of my early nursing career was in neonatal intensive care so I also have the designation of certified child passenger safety inspector (we test car seats).

I just wanted to add that, along with making sure that car seats are being used appropriately, it&#039;s important to note that ANY object that is not secured in your automobile can become a flying weapon in a car accident.  Try to avoid leaving tools, groceries, heavy toys, mirrors (the ones many Moms use to be able to see the kids in the back seat....:(  , etc IN the car.  It&#039;s best to secure them in a trunk.
