If you, or your elderly parents, need another good reason to quit smoking, turns out it can rot our brains as well. Researchers have "found a "consistent association" between smoking and lower scores" on brain tests. Oh dear!
But GOOD NEWS about Alzheimer's Disease – "A biological medication already widely used to treat plaque psoriasis may be able to slow the accumulation of amyloid plaques in the brain that are the hallmark of Alzheimer's disease." Click here to read the whole article which has even more great news.
