God is faithful – 1 Corinthians 1:9
Have a blessed and beautiful week of autumn bliss. And be encouraged in our precious and faithful Savior!
Happy Autumn! Can you believe how fast the time is going! My grandson and I enjoyed the movie Soul Surfer together and the Halloween scene reminded me, again, how close Halloween is, followed always too quickly by Thanksgiving and Christmas! Yowzers! No time to waste, that's for sure. So here's another cute clipart bookmark for our grandkids and to share with adorable trick or treaters everywhere.
God is love. 1 John 4:8
How about you and your kids and grandkids? Do you have other fun and creative ideas for sharing God's love with others at Halloween and throughout the year? We'd love to hear them. And don't forget to enjoy the blessings at Internet Cafe Devotions. And…
Autumn bliss! I am thoroughly enjoying this sweet season. And thanks to the continuing weird weather around here, with storms and threatened storms and short sleeves mixed in with cloudy overcast, I'm also thinking ahead to holiday fun – Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween. Halloween???? Yup. We LOVE Halloween around here because it's a wonderful chance to shower lots of candy, love, and Scripture verses on adorable little kids (and grandkids) who coming knocking at the door. That makes this the perfect time to start working on some fun goodies to share with them – and you – on this sweet Word-Filled Wednesday. I used my favorite and very cute country clipart from Trina and thought that this year, bookmarks (or door knob hangers, window decor, etc.) would be fun. I might even hand out those little cardboard mailing tags along with these cute clipart coloring pictures. Then, if they wanted, they would have several simple crafty options to enjoy once they got home. What a fun way to encourage simple crafts AND share the sweet Word of God with neighbors and others who come trick or treating.
Not to mention that this will make fun and easy crafts for our own kids and grandkids (and even all of us boomers and seniors and our parents can enjoy this as well). Be sure to check back each week as I'll be having fun with this project throughout this holiday season. Hmmmm, how about place cards for Thanksgiving and gift tags / homemade Christmas tree ornaments for Advent and Christmas? Oh yes, this Sandwich Generation grandma has the holiday spirit in a big way and is LOVING using it to share a sweet spiritual legacy with friends, family, AND GRANDKIDS! Join me, won't you? Here AND at Internet Cafe Devotions with their latest lovely calendar – more autumn bliss – and Teaching What is Good – all about traditions (and if you'd like more ideas for ways to share God's love on Halloween, enjoy Kate's article on that last year. 🙂 ) And for all of us grandparents, do join in the fun at Grandma's Briefs and Family Home and Life.
