Today’s Twitter resources are all a bit on the Techy side. Which is perfect since it’s also time for us to make sure we’ve backed up all our documents, photos, music, etc. Then it’s time to run the defragmenter, if we haven’t already done so. Don’t forget the antivirus, AdAware and Spybot scans. If you don’t have Windows do an automatic update, it’s time for that as well. I also like to run PC Pitstop’s PC Matic which I use now or Norton’s System Works which was my old favorite. All of these tools are great helps that enable me to keep my computer running well, clean it up when it’s turned into a slow computer and to help me fix my computer when there are problems. While your computer is busy with all those, you can enjoy these tweet resources.

My newest favorite tool – Media Converter. It is a GREAT tool! I use it to convert many online videos or mp4 files to mp3 files which means I can listen to them on my iPod while driving to see the grandkids. I can convert five files under 1 gig per day for free. If you need to do more than that, they have weekly, monthly and yearly options with reasonable charges.

Baby Boomer Generation Waxes Nostalgic

1 in 4 Twitterers are 15-24 yrs old, but nearly 2 in 5 are over 45. That’s us, the Baby Boomer Generation!

NASA has launched its Ares I-X rocket, next generation rocket to replace space shuttles!  WOW! I remember going with my husband and kids to Edwards Air Force Base to watch the landing of the first Space Shuttle after Challenger! Definitely a case of, “the times, they are a-changing!” @cnnbrk

But that’s OK because those of us in the Baby Boomer Generation will always have Twitter! (Til it’s obsolete, anyway. )
