Dubai – the mysterious haven of the rich, the famous, and the glamorous. I have three friends in their 70s and 80s who are totally enthralled by the place and all the stories that come out about it. I think they look on it as a contemporary version of Hollywood back in its glamour days, although that seems to be shifting a bit.
As a gift to them, and to any of you who might also have elderly friends and relatives interested in Dubai, I have some new links to share about it. I will caution them, and you, that it’s not as good of news as in the past. Apparently the sad state of the economy has been taking its toll there as well. Yet another sign of the times!
