Summer is slowly fading into autumn here in our area. And this Sandwich Generation granny nanny and grandkids couldn't be happier!
The grandchildren can enjoy more play time outside and their grandma (me) can enjoy that time outside more as well, since we're not all roasting to death! And my senior mom can't wait either as this has been the worst summer for her in years, if not ever, due to extra pollution and allergy issues!
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm even looking forward to snow to kill off all those allergy causers not to mention all the extra bugs this year. 
In the meantime, we're making the most of the great weather…
…while continuing to enjoy more of the inside autumn-y games we love!
Summer came hot and early this year. We're hoping this is really Fall – also early this year. We're definitely ready for our fave season – talk about Autumn bliss!
