Fortunately I do have an older one they can play on too.

Hi Wendy, Thanks for stopping by. I’m sorry to hear about your grandmother. I bet she was a big blessing in your life!
The blog party, the contest, this site shows the wisdom that God can provide. The party is a wonderful way for caregiving boomers to interact with folks who understand us. For grands it is ideal to talk, explore interests, and learn. And this site is well designed, exhibits all the good things about blogging and sooths the soul.
Keep up the awesome work!
Hi Rosie, Thank you
I enjoyed visiting at your site as well. Loved what you said in your intro, “Blogging is keeping us young , believe it or not.” We definitely believe it around here!
And congrats on 30 YEARS of marriage! Awesome
My sweet husband is in heaven, but God blessed us with 27 years and like you, computers was something we both loved!
Have a blessed week!
Thanks so much for stopping by my UBP post and checking out my autism resources. I’m definitely interested in reading more of your posts as my MIL was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and we are all feeling our way through the situation.
Blessings and enjoy the party.
Hi Trish, You are very welcome. I’m so sorry to hear about your MIL. I know how hard it is to have such a difficult diagnosis but, just like with so many other things, it does help to take things one step at a time. God is good and He’ll see us through. Have a blessed week!
glad you joined the party Kaye!

Be sure to check back later today as I’ll be spotlighting some of the other never-say-aging members of the Baby Boomers Generations, fellow grandparents, and more interesting people I’ve met so far at the Ultimate Blog Party for 2010!
Have a blessed day!
Hey Kaye! So great to see you at the party!!
Hi Jen, So fun to see you! I’ve found a couple of other parents and grandparents of twins so when I do, I’ve been letting them know about your site, #TwinTuesday, AND Twinstock ’10.
Have a blessed day and lots of fun at the Ultimate Blog Party!
Hi Kaye!
It was great to talk with you via twitter and then to find your fantastic comment at my place Live Laugh Love and Bloggings.
I am soon to be a grandma for the 1st time! I’m gonna be the BEST grandma!
I do have primary care of my father… a very complicated and sad situation… so I do know what you mean about keeping all the balls in the air – the plates spinning….
My grandparents, my mothers parents to be exact, were my life, they were my parents in every way possible. My grandmother suffered from dementia/Alzheimer towards the end of her years. It was the hardest thing I ever imagined it would be. I actually went back to California to help care for her…… and the legal shannigans that later ensued with siblings and her church.. ugh ugh ugh Elder care and especially those with dementia/Alzheimers is very very important to me. There is so such a need for better information and support.
Ummm LOVE LOVE LOVED Numbers, I buy Criminal Minds on DVD after each season so I can do a Marathon catch up!
I too am offering a Amazon GC to one of my lucky UBP10 readers
(also donated 2 $30.00 Amazon GC’s to the event) I’ve been so blessed with all that I have found and received from the blogosphere – just have to – have to – give back!
As to my car, the transmission has gone…. 220,000 miles on the car – got it for $300 2.5 years ago (the car I mean) it has served this family of 7 well. We never imagined it would last as long as it has, so we are blessed for that.
Now to figure out what is next *laughing* Ahhh life gotta love those curve balls!
I hope you are enjoying the party! It’s so great to “meet” you. I will be back – that’s for sure!
Blessings!
Christine
Livelaughlovecj (on twitter)
Hi Christine, Thanks for stopping. Be sure to come back later today as I’ll be “formally” introducing you in today’s post.
Have a lovely and peaceful weekend in spite of the car
Hey there, I’m popping in from the UBP. Wow! What a great site, and what a great ministry. I have 3 very young children and my husband and I live with his parents. You can read more about that through a link on my party post about my family. We love it! My own mom lives down the street and we spend a ton of time together, but I’ve been taking extra special care of her this week since she fell and broke her arm last Tuesday. Poor thing! I’m not exactly sandwiched as you say in that I certainly am a long way off from having grandkids to help out with, but I love being close to and living life with both my kids and my and my husband’s parents. My husband’s grandmother lives here in town too and she just turned 100 years old last week. On Easter she told me that my Lemon DREAM Cream Cake is the best thing she’s ever tasted in all of her 100 years!!! What a compliment! You can also get the recipe for that from my UBP post. Come visit me!
Party on!
Blessings
Rachymommy – MommyTopics.com
Hi Rachymommy, Thank you – and yup, you are in the Sandwich Generation as it includes caring for elderly parents while taking care of your own kids still at home. Since my kids are all grown and out on their own, and I granny nanny half my grandkids, my focus tends to be on that, but hopefully, you’ll find plenty of useful tips and ideas for your own young kids as well as your senior parents.
Hi Kaye,
This is my first blog party, how fun:) Happy to “meet” you!
Have a great weekend,
Liz

Hi Cascia, Thanks for stopping by .
Have a blessed day!
Kaye, I’m so glad you stopped by my blog. There are so many on the big part to visit – I’m thankful to connect with you and your blog. I am an older Mommy – just lost 2 of our parents last year, and 2 more heading into their 70′s. Also, I’m closer to being a Grandma than a ‘mommy” so I’m going to enjoy your blog1
And wow, I’m so honored that you liked and picked and even listed the print of my recent painting “Enchanted Forest”. Thank you so much. I wonder… did you scroll down and read about the creation of that painting?
Well – just wanted to say “Hi” … and as long as I’m here, sign me up for those Amazon GC
God Bless,
~Melanie
