My mom is also a great gardener though she mostly does container gardening now. Then there's me. I love to read about gardening (subscribed to the same magazine for years), but implementing it is a bit challenging. Partly too much else going on, partly allergies. I tried Ruth Stout's hay idea once and got a sinus infection that lasted months! Now I mostly admire places, like your great site. But SOMEDAY! I am going to do it and when I do, I really like the Square Foot Garden concept.
