One of my grandkids favorite knock knock jokes is:
Knock Knock
Who's There?
Red
Red Who?
Red
RED WHO?
Orange
Orange WHO?
ORANGE you glad I didn't say red
How's that for a grand intro to a couple of fun and feisty and cute pumpkins my grandkids enjoyed carving!
Aren't these cute! Won't my senior mom LOVE these pictures on her iPad?
One lesson I learned this year, though – it would probably pay to invest in a better pumpkin carving set. We tried steak knives with serrated edges, but they were hard to use. The $1 sets I picked up worked better but broke too easily. Next year, we'll try the $5 sets.
How about you?
Kaye
P.S. Thank you so much for your comments. I appreciate them very much and read each one. I also do my best to reply to them all but, as you can imagine, there are times (many times, lately :) ) when caregiving needs do not allow for that. Thank you for your patience and your sweet comments.

That pumpkin looks like he might have been in a fight. No matter, it was a great idea by someone special. My great grandson made one not a lot better.l

LOL LaVoice, you’ve got a great point there.
And wouldn’t my grandkids get a kick out of that thought.
What awesome pumpkin carving!! I love them so much more than the professional looking ones! Have a happy Rednesday this week!
