May I take a moment to sing the praises of AAA. I know they’re not the only auto club/roadside service company out there, and they may not be the cheapest. But I’ve been using them for over 40 years and they’ve always been there for my family and me. Barring a couple of times during bad weather with tons of people having car problems, they have generally arrived within about an hour. Sometimes even less than an hour! They’re always cheerful, courteous, and helpful. They are my knights in shining armor!
Car woes that require towing or other roadside assistance are always frustrating. For caregivers of elderly parents and/or young kids, it is triply so. Whether we need to pick a grandchild up from school, get an elderly relative to a doctor appointment, or just need one less headache in our lives, having a roadside assistance membership is not a luxury, it’s a need. I am so grateful to AAA for filling that need wonderfully for me. (Can you tell I was in need today!!!)
