I'm the daughter and my parents take anywhere from 1 to 6 of my kids (ages 12 -near3) on trips during their school vacations:) I totally appreciate it and just as you described above is the way my mom plans each one. It makes each trip stress-less and definitely creates fun memories for kids- They also give kids a disposable camera to take pictures and then scrapbooks with them after the trip. This post brought a smile and comforting feeling- thanks to all the grandparents who give the parents a little break!! What a great post!
