Heavenly Resources to Encourage the Sandwich Generation From Revelation 22!

by Kaye Swain

One of the many questions my grandkids ask me about heaven is, "Will there be food in heaven?" Thanks to the encouraging Bible memory verses about heaven this week for our kids and grand children series, I can easily answer, "yes, and now you will know why I say yes!" Talk about happy little campers, not to mention a happy Sandwich Generation granny nanny. :)

The encouraging Bible verses in Revelation 22 about heaven gave me the answer for the kids and grand children that YES there is food in heaven

Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, 2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month ; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Revelation 22:1-2

Can you imagine TWELVE kinds of fruit on one tree! And a crop EVERY month! Wow! What fun to think about – for our kids and grandkids AND for ourselves!

P.S. Thank you so much for your comments. I enjoy them very much and read each one. I also love the grand ideas so many of you share that help and encourage other readers. I do my best to reply to them all but value your patience when that isn\'t possible.

Hi Kate :) I tell them they are my personal trainers to keep me excercising – and as you can tell, they are also a wonderful resource of great ideas for writing :) Thanks for such a lovely trip down memory lane – so many fun musical memories! :)
