Happy Valentine’s Day Cards and Fun for Grandparents and Grandchildren

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, and today being Word-Filled Wednesday, this Sandwich Generation granny nanny decided to have some creative fun this season, combining encouraging Bible verses about love with cute country clipart from Trina and Friends. And while there may be no snow outside, I'm having SNOW MUCH FUN inside with these cute Valentine snowpeople. Here's a cute duo – one in color and one in black and white, thanks to one of my new favorite and fun apps for the iPhone – Instant Sketch.

What an awesome "Valentine" from God to us. And what a fun way of sharing these words of encouragement with our grandkids.

I thought these might be fun Valentines for some of our grandkids to enjoy coloring or maybe even share with some of their friends, not to mention their grandparents and great-grandparents. Happy Early Valentines Day from my Sandwich Generation Family to yours.

The BEST Valentine of all!! LOVE this Kaye! I only wish we’d see a TEENSY bit of snow this winter!

Kaye Swain February 15, 2012 at 7:47 am: HEHEHE – that’s about what we’re STILL getting Lori – a teensy bit. Got some two nights ago – in the middle of the night it was gorgeous. At 6 am when I had to hit the road to help with grandkids, I was delighted to discover rain had washed half away, so I could enjoy it on the grass, but not on the drive. Grandkids would have liked more tho. We’re all hoping for one good snow day for school but so far nada on that front.
