Thank you so much Kaye, for your very, very kind words. I appreciate them very much.
Blessings and good thoughts for a lovely Christmas.
Warmly,
Tracey
P.S. You are so right about it being rewarding. There are times when it is extremely wearing, and other things in life, such as career and the like, must be sacrificed, but after all is said and done, I can think of no other path I could have taken (or would take). Thanks again.xo

Thanks for letting link to your Advent page from my Christmas blog post. You have some wonderful ideas and tips here. My wife enjoys setting up her special Nativity set she hand painted about 30 years ago. Christmas is a wonderful time.

Hi Tracey, Thank you for such sweet comments! WOW! You have really been in the trenches with caregiving! I know that feeling as well. It’s definitely hard, but it’s also so rewarding and full of joy, isn’t it? :)

I want to share with all my readers the information that Tracey McBride is the author of two wonderful books, Frugal Luxuries and Frugal Luxuries by the Seasons. I read both of these a couple of years ago and love them. I highly recommend them and am pleased to tell you that they are still available at Amazon. And I have to admit I am thrilled to have one of my favorite authors visit here at my website. :) :) :)

Your advent ideas are wonderful! I love your blog...it is so helpful to those of us taking care of both children and aging and/or ill parents! I grew up with a mother who suffered from Multiple Sclerosis (severely). My dad cared for her at home for over three decades...at first alone, later with blessed help...but always at home. When she passed away a few years ago she left a tremendous hole in our lives...despite the fact that she hadn't been able to speak for nearly 15 years (due to a permanent trach.) or care for herself in any way. Now, we are helping to care for my husband's mom who is nearly 87 and in frail health. Thank you for this blog. It's wonderful knowing we're not alone.
Blessings and warm thoughts from....
