Favorite Books and Music
Do you love to read? I certainly do! I have always been a bookworm, since I was four years old and started reading cereal boxes. I have found that reading can be a saving grace for a caregiver. We can be busier than you can imagine so much of the time, but also have large amounts of downtime at various and sporadic times of the day. Too much time to just sit there and do nothing, but not enough time to really start a big project. If I was a knitter I’d get a ton done, but I’m a reader so I get a ton of reading done.
I love to share books with others as well as make suggestions and recommendations. I was honored to have a friend comment recently that, “I love all the books you recommend!” I hope you also enjoy many of these books.
The first group of books I am pleased to recommend are by two of my all-time favorite authors, Karen Kingsbury and Dee Henderson. These are both series dealing with families and family issues. They are interesting, intriguing, have a bit of romance, a lot of love, and a whole lot more. I do have to warn you though, they are VERY hard to put down!
Enjoy!
Here are books and cds by some of my favorite writers and singers. I wholeheartedly recommend any and all of these to encourage you and help you grow in the Lord.
Here are the books I bought to use as coloring pages for my grandkids. They come complete with a cd and are all public domain so they are free to use in a myriad of ways with only some minor restrictions. My two favorites are the animals and the fairies. I hope to add more to my collection eventually.
