Fall Foliage Trip for Caregivers

by Kaye Swain on October 25, 2008

Fall foliage – don’t those words just give you a cozy feeling. Driving along, looking at the gorgeous colors, stopping for some apple pie and hot cider along the way. That sounds so heavenly. Sadly, I have a nasty cold so I won’t be doing that anytime soon. For those of you who are feeling healthy and perky though, click on weather.com’s fall foliage guide – http://www.weather.com/activities/driving/fallfoliage/?from=secondarynav – and start planning a lovely trip. Whether you take an elderly parent out to enjoy the crisp air, bundle up a grandchild or three to go looking for pumpkins, or just take some precious time off to recharge your caregiver batteries, you’re bound to enjoy yourself. I’m looking forward to it in a couple of weeks when I’m better and time permits. I just hope those leaves keep hanging on.
