Encouraging Bible Verses For The Sandwich Generation: A Love Valentine From God to Us!

Last week, I shared two cute "Happy Valentine's Day" Holidays clip art coupled with encouraging Bible verses that are great use use as memory verses for our children and grandchildren. My goal was to remind our grandkids (and ourselves) to give ourselves fully, daily, to our precious Savior. Today, I wanted to remind them, and us, of the best love gift we have ever received. The gift of salvation from our Heavenly Father – perfect for a Valentine's Card from God to us. 🙂

For that matter, it's not just our grandkids who might enjoy this but our senior parents as well. Many of our elderly parents grew up memorizing this verse. Even if they are in the midst of dementia symptoms, something simple and colorful like this – with one of the most famous and comforting Bible verses on it – will stand a good chance of really breaking through to them. What a joy that is! And if they've never learned it, what a double blessing to share this with them.

Have a lovely Word-Filled Wednesday. And don't forget, you can find plenty more uplifting and encouraging Bible verses and pictures to bless you as you are dealing with the Sandwich Generation issues of caring for the elderly parents in your family while babysitting grandchildren. Just pop on over to Internet Cafe Devotions. 🙂
