The Sandwich Generation granny nanny thinks these cute wooden children's and toddler indoor Christmas nativity sets are delightful for grandchildrenMy grandchildren and I had a chance to use the Advent candles and wreaths the past couple of days. We've also been enjoying the various Christmas nativity sets I love to collect and they love to help me find. On Friday, my granddaughter and I discovered a new musical Nativity set to add to the collection. We went to a local thrift store and were delighted to discover find this for under $3! What a treat for both of us – full of sweet family memories for Advent!

My grandchild and I had fun finding this musical Nativity set at a thrift store for a great price

It joined the music Christmas Nativity set my grandkids and I found at Walgreen's a couple of years ago.

My grandchildren love to play this Nativity figurine music box

I bought this simple wooden Nativity set this year at a Christmas craft sale. I loved its looks and thought it might be a good pattern for future activities for grandparents and grandchildren

Advent activities for grandparents and their grandchildren in my home include interesting Nativity sets

We even have a couple of unique Nativity Christmas tree ornaments.

When the grandkids were much younger, I treated both sets to an unbreakable set from Fisher Price. They are getting harder and more expensive to find, but I was pleased to notice one of my favorite toy companies, Melissa and Doug has cute wooden children's Christmas Nativity sets.
