The 10th of the Ten Commandments for our children and grand kids was last week. So we're on to something new this week, right? Not quite. For those grandkids who might wonder what Jesus had to say about the 10 Commandments, I have a special and very cute clipart picture for them, along with some very important Bible memory verses I've shared in the past for children, but they're just too good not to repeat.
When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered themselves together . 35 One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him,"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" And [Jesus] said to him,
" 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."
Matthew 22:34-40

P.S. Thank you so much for your comments. I appreciate them very much and read each one. I also do my best to reply to them all but, as you can imagine, there are times (many times, lately :) ) when caregiving needs do not allow for that. Thank you for your patience and your sweet comments.

Oh Awesome Amy! I’m planning on coloring pages from them but probably still be awhile on that. I’ll keep you posted
That is the greatest commandment. Thanks for sharing and thank you for your comment on my WFW and most of all thank you for your prayers. They have all worked. My husband came home yesterday. He is on coumadin but has to be checked every week. He is also on two other pills. With Afib there is a danger of blood clots forming and that is what they are trying to prevent. I’m asking and believing that God will heal him and he will not have to stay on this medicine. God is so good.
