The next in our set of Bible Memory Verses activities for all of us Sandwich Generation grandparents and their grandchildren is:
Love…
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking.1 Corinthians 13:5a (NIV)
Isn't that a fun photo and verse to share with our grandkids in this Scripture memorization project? This granny nanny had a great time showing it off to the grandkids and enjoying their giggles!

Hi Denise, Thank you!
I’m sticking my tongue out back at ya!
That is a fun picture to pair with that verse for kids — left a smile on my face!
YAY, GlowinGirl, That’s exactly what I’m going for – Faces full of smiles, and hearts full of God’s Word!
What a fun and thoughtful granny you are….this picture really brings this scripture to life for the young ones….and the not so young ones, too!
I love it. Very clever and just right to stick in adult as well as children’s minds. I feel a little better for using poor Moggie once again…LOL.
Hi Ozjane, I LOVED the photo of Moggie in prison! Such a great illustration for a delightful Word-Filled Wednesday devotional.

Hi Amydeanne, Thank you!
I love it!
I love giraffes! Yes, love is our legacy in Christ. Happy WFW!
Hi e-Mom, Amen!
That is so cute. I like how the giraffe is sticking out its tongue, something a child would do when they are being rude. What a great way to teach them. Thanks and God bless.
Hi Brian, thank you
It did give us all big giggles, I must admit.
Hi thanks for your comment on my nannykim blog. Your blog look interesting. My almost 2 year old grandson and 3 year old granddaughter memorize verses each week. They use pictures, and hand signs both of which they make up. They practice at each meal. During Easter time they would get a jelly bean after supper when they said their verse. My grandson got to saying the verse with the word jellybean immediately after! They still do the jellybean, but I hope he doesn’t think it is part of the verse!! ha!
Hi NannyKim, LOL – how adorable!!! It is cute what they put together in their sweet little minds. And such a blessing to be grandparents who get to share God’s word with our grandkids!
Have a blessed week.
I love this, Kaye!
Blessings,
Joan
Thank you Joan – you gave me a big smile after a difficult time fighting the computer.
What a WONDERFUL poster to teach your grandkids this important lesson in a way that’s easy for them to remember. Thanks so much for sharing the link!…
Hugs and blessings,
HI Virginia, Thank you! We had a lot of fun with it!
